nah, that is absurd. koufax was insane. in a world series game 7 when the dodgers could have pitched a hall of famer in drsydale w/ 3 days rest, they pitched a koufax on two days. it ain't all in the numbers. plus, koufax pitched in more pain than gooden ever knew, outside of withdrawal.
edit: yea, 85 is ridiculous though. but hall of fame ballot considers careers not seasons.
