You're on the internet of course, so finding some interesting bean uses can be found easily. Signal:Noise ratio might suck, so maybe go to FOODTV or some "bean council" or the S&W Foods website or something like that where they make recipes to help them sell beans.

Something quick to cook:
-Cut off a portion of smoked sausage / polska kielbasa
-Cut sausage into bite-size chunks and cook in frying pan
-Grab a can of red or pinto beans
-Empty beans into bowl and microwave until hot.
-Combine cooked meat, a fair amount of the grease, and meal-sized portion of beans in a bowl for yourself.
-Add tabasco or other New Orleans style hot sauce (don't use mexican type hot sauce)
-Stir it all together. Enjoy.

If you have time, energy, or the desire to make the beans better nutritionally, add some white rice.
