Sayings that people totally butcher.....
Some examples of phrases and words I hear almost daily that are totally wrong and/or misused:
"I could care less"
-----really? Personally, when I don't really care "I couldn't care less"
"Orientated"
----not a word. Its oriented.
Irregardless
-----not technically a word. Its regardless.
and a bit obscure, but...
"Chomping at the bit"
-----wrong. Its "champing at the bit". Everyone says chomping
Please add yours and/or just call me a nit.
