Default Re: What was your favorite childhood toy?

[ QUOTE ]
My sister's 13th birthday was a couple of days ago, and she got a freakin iPod. I remember my birthdays growing up, and I got $50 worth of toys (if I was lucky) and some Hanes tighty-whiteys.

Which got me thinking about my favorite toy growing up. My Optimus Prime Transformer. Oh man I would play with that thing for hours.

What is 00t's fav?

50 bucks was my top end, if I was lucky, too.

Favorite toys: the, big all metal capguns that looked very realistic. The ones that looked like old cowboy six-shooters. Those things were insanely cool. Cap gun shoot-outs with and raids on other kids was unbelievable fun, and so were quick-drawing contests. Total gas.

Matchbox cars were also really great.

And G.I. Joes and other posable dolls. There were some astronaut ones that were incredibly cool.

Of course, nothing beats a bicycle, except maybe a puppy, but you only get so many of those; once you've got one, you're set for a long time.
