Yes, this was also my thinking because the big stack wasn't playing as he "should" (some of the folds after this hand he made were criminal to me, like when I was BB and he was SB, he didn't even complete, bar once).
However - I didn't want to give shorty a free ride against big stack's "any two" at the same time. Against an intelligent player as the big stack I would push or fold here, but because of my read I limped. Shorty and SB folded, BB checked. Flop was ten high, he checked, I bet, he folded.
Not really very interesting I guess.
