High cards and big pairs go up in value when shorthanded.
You should also play your big drawing hands aggressive since you win when you hit or your opponents fold. Even if you only have an overpair to the flop you should be betting so that opponents with drawing hands don't get the right odds.
A hand like JJ56 is a raising hand imho when headsup or 3 handed.
