About 1,784,965,665 hands in the past year on Party and it's skins

Currently around 2,867,326,809

If that figure is correct for real money games, it would mean that 100 high volume players averaging 25k hands per month would account for better than 1/60th of the Party/Skins total hand count for the year.

500 high volume players at that level woud constitute more than 1/12th of the total hand count for the year.

1000 high volume players would make up more than 1/6th of the Party/skins total hand count.

Are there that many high volume players out there?

Is there anything wrong with the way I am looking at this?

You're multiply counting hands that these high volume players play against each other, and if these players play as many hands as you speculate the probability of them playing against each other isnt so tiny.

Example, if you have 10 high volume players playing 25k hands/month, but they play them all at one table against each other, then that's not really 250k hands played but 25k hands instead. Obviously this is the extreme case but you get the idea.

The Doc

Duh! I'm an idiot. You are right Doc.

The real number is somewhere in between those two numbers. For you real strong math guys, someone figure this one out for me:

Assuming 70k seated players, of which 1k of these players are multi-tabling TAGS who 4 table and do play 25k hands per month. Assuming the number of total hands at the 1.7 billion figure, what estimated percentage of hands do they play of the total?

Thanks to anyone that can provide the answer.

(I think I can calculate this, but I don't want to look more stupid than I already appear.)
