Default Re: Should I give up poker forever? (serious)

[ QUOTE ]

If I can't make ~$80,000 playing poker fulltime in a year I don't wanna even try. Does this seem possible?

how are we supposed to know what you can and can't make in a year? do you play good, or do you play bad? if you play bad, probably not. from the sound of your post, it sounds like you are being very unrealistic and should almost definitely quit.

if you want to stick with it, try focusing on learning to play better instead of having unrealistic (given what you've said) financial expectations.
