I've basically only played on Pokerroom and have played the whole range of SNG's. I can't make a comparison and say Pokerroom is tighter or looser than Party or Stars, but I would not characterize the 10's or 20's as tight.

The 30's and 50's are tighter but contain a lot of bad players, the 100s are generally solid players. The average 10/20 lasts something like 45 minutes, the average 50 about an hour, the average 100 about an hour fifteen. Ballpark estimates and only based on 500 or so SNG's total, most at the 50's and the 20's. I'm a mediocre player who is winning at the 20's and probably deserves to and won but probably shouldn't have in the 50's.

At the 10's you will see a lot of REALLY bad play. From your description I think you played in an anomalous game. Maybe the other sites are looser, but PR is definitely not tight, at least not at the 10s.
