Boise State? Scalf, Big Al, anyone???
Folks -
As a casual sports bettor, I recall having good success last year betting with Boise State. If I recall, they had a pretty good tendency to cover (at least on the occasions that I bet them last year, they covered). In fact, my mantra for 2003 was something like "always bet Boise State."
This year, I didn't get a bet down on them in week one since they were giving 33 . . . man, was that a mistake. I'm just wondering whether any of you experts out there - scalf, Big Al, etc - have any opinions as to their prospects this year. More specifically, any thoughts on the upcoming game against Oregon State? I'll hang up and listen.
