Default Re: Flopped set on a suited flop: Cap of fold?

[ QUOTE ]
I played this hand this morning before reading this thread. I thought I played it perfect... anyone disagree?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)

It looks fine to me. The only reason I folded mine was that I didn't want to call three cold, which was a huge mistake. In this hand you can't give the villans credit for anything other than a weak flush since there was no flop cap. You've got outs to fill up, and you may even be able to push them off a better hand since neither of them have shown much strength.

I hate seeing this thread bumped, but I just hope a few can learn from my hideous mistake.
