Hand 1: 3-bet or fold. However, reserve the 3-bet for when you know the raiser is a maniac. Good fold.
Hand 2: Once you've bet the flop (which seems fine... only the J overcard), you pretty much have to bet the turn as you did (since another J came out). The river is a tough decision. You're going to get raised if someone's been slowplaying the J (which I see a lot). Nobody's going to lay a K down here, either.
However, I am guessing that the correct play is betting the river. I think you win this hand more than half the time at this point... so let's call it a value bet.
Am I wrong?
