Default Re: I don\'t like to lay down sets

I had the almost exact same hand Saturday night. $50 home tourney, guy to my right is a new player. Earlier he asked, "How do these blind things work?" First hand he bets 30% of his stack on A5 when an ace flops. I've got AJ behind him, and I have no idea what to do - anyway the hand in question I have 88 with a flop of 789. He makes a large bet, I figure he's got a piece of the board, since he's been over-playing his hands all night. I push him all-in and he calls with JT. Mr. Clueless won the 19 player tourney beating 3 or 4 other pretty good players with similar hands and some drawouts.
