I saw that too. He was about 50 years old or so, only
started playing six months ago. He won about 350K in
a 1500 to 2000 buy-in NL event.
Some guys are a quicker study than some no doubt.

Ivey is just plain damn good at poker
Gordon sold his software company for 90 million so......
but he's a contender.

I think for the most part, it's like any other game or
hobby, you see all walks of life.

I strongly believe though, that Chris Moneymaker is the
reason for the poker explosion, combined with the WPT
on Travel Channel airing the same year.
