I'm having problems with saying that raising is an easy decision.
From the way he played it, I can't put him on anything but trips or a boat. If you raise the river and catch him the time its just trips, then you gain 1 bb. If you raise and its the boat you lose 2bb. Against a strong opponent I have to lean toward just calling.
Maybe the party 15-30 game is looser than I'm guessing, but depending on the opponent I'd probly call about 50% and raise about 50%. So, to me its not a simple raise.

Another question on the flop play. I understand coldcalling, not wanting to push out the BB. However, Do you think raising to continue to represent an overpair would have any value? or would it kill the action to often to be a valuable play. With a raise on the flop the rest of the hand gets easier.
