Fold?? Never.
I find it hard to believe anyone is so weak-tight that their going to just fold thier hand here evertime, or so analytical that they're figuring pot odds to improve when they likely have the best hand.
I'm 3 betting this against typical players almost evertime.
Your raise on the button after everyone folds is almost always going to be assumed as a steal by a typical 30-60 player. As a matter of fact, 3 betting here will probably win you the pot right there enough times to justify it. Folding a strong hand because of some BS flop aggression when others assume you are much weaker than normal is poor poker. Other positive scenarios of 3 betting the flop include:
1)knocking out one of the players and getting the other to fold on the turn.
2)Having both call you and taking a freebie on the turn, if the situation calls for it.
3)going to a showdown with the best hand, either improved or not.
The negative is you put a couple of bets in with a strong hand and lose. That's just called the way it is. In the long run, folding is always going to net you a loss here. Playing this aggressively will net you a profit.
