Thank you all for the excellent advice. I know understand this was a typical misplayed on everystreet. It's good to hear the 1/10 rule etc. It's the advise you know exists, but it needs to sink in for real.
Results are that my opponent folded and I dragged the 19 pot. I don't know what he layed down, but I do know I got incredibly lucky. I knew I wouldn't get called by anything less than what I had.
Back to the books for me, and lots pf practise. I think it's time to reread Ciaffone and Reuben.
