Default Re: Misplayed on every street, or was my flop action okay?

I think it's very important to bet the the turn. With decent hands in big pots you should be trying to maximize your chance of winning the pot and not worry so much about loosing an extra bet. The fact that your play sofar is consistent with a ten just make the bet so much better. If your friend folds his overcards it can increase your chance of winning with more than 13 percent.

I would also have bet the river. After the turn was checked through you'll probably be called down by all kinds of hands and that will more than make up for the times you're raised by a 3.

You mentioned that you would have folded to a flop 3-bet. That can't be right since you have odds to spike a set.

I don't know if you should have 3-betted preflop. I think you'll win more than your fair share but calling gives you a good chance of check-raising your friend the way it actually happend. I guess it depends on the looseness of the limpers and your friends raising standards.
