Default Re: Omaha 8/b....Low Limit vs. Small $$$ Pot limit

the real question, in terms of profitability, is how stupid the opponents are. bad players will lose faster at pot-limit, but those who insist on plays like drawing to second-nut lows tend to abandon pot-limit or learn that such a play is a mistake, whereas at limit they go on doing it.

so your opponent will make more mistakes at limit, but those mistakes are more costly at pot-limit. if you find opponents who make big mistakes at pot-limit, you're probably better off there.

another factor: low-limit o/8 is very boring, where there is actually some enjoyment in playing pot-limit.
