am I actually getting an advantage over other players, especially Party Poker players, by reading and re-reading this site?

If you study and eat your veggies then you will come out ahead of players who play by the seat of their pants. Ok, you really dont need to eat vegetables.

Do the majority of players read or not read this site and other various media on the topic?

Probably not. Most players want to have fun. Playing poker correctly does not seem fun to most players.
