I find your post so typical. If you take 100 NL players and 100 Limit players, I guarantee the majority of NL players will say NL is the more difficult/challenging/skill intensive/etc. game, while the majority of Limit players will defend limit. Similarly, you seem to be defending tourney players.

I'm not defending them at all. If anything I'm saying the opposite.
I agree that an EXPERT (not that I did not use the word "winning") player will earn more with deeper stacks, but a player with solid preflop standards and not much else will do better playing a short stack because of the ability to get all-in easier.
Also in aggressive games like the UB 50/100, there is a lot to be said for buying in short to counter act the hyper-aggressive, but overall skilled play in that game.
If you think my opinion comes frmo being a tourney player, you are 100% wrong.
