Villain is 50/8 and PFA is .25. By the river I knew he had me but I felt pot committed and didn't want him bluffing a draw so I blocked. Any bet pot committed me so I just put him all in. Thoughts?

by definition it can't be a blocking bet if you put him all-in. I'd check fold a decent sized bet on river
EDIT: generally if you check he will bet less than all-in, so you get to see a showdown for a better price if you just check to him. You're not making any better hand fold, you will force some worse hands to fold, and you'll give him maximum value when he beats you.
