Once you have something working for a main application, you don't tend to touch it that much to make improvements. Why? Well they are costly because of how late they come in the design process(i.e. after the whole thing is done and implemented) so the improvement has to be of great value or it just won't happen until enough requirements are put together to make a new version. Now why didn't this happen at Party were every added penny of rake is a huge gain? I have no idea.
