I would almost always just call in this spot for basically all the reasons you've stated -- but I'm not sure if this is correct. But I would likely 3-bet KQs here, so I think the crux of reraising preflop is not immediately feeling compelled to spew postflop with no fold equity (if that's the type of player he is).
