Hand 1 I fold similar to you.
Hand 2 I think you have to reraise on the turn to maybe all in to stop two potential flush draws that could make you weak on river. If villian had AK they would have bet flop if they are decent (not sure if the same villian for both hands). I think villian is on AQ and thinks they can take down the hand right there.
