Default Re: 77 in the BB

The flop was 876. If BUT had an OE draw he would have 89 or 65. JT I ruled out because I bet a enough on the flop and I dont think anyone would call there for just a gut on a dangerous board. If he had a set/2 pair I believe he would have raised since the board was scary. The EP player I was fairly certain he had the A8s or A9s. I knew a little about how he plays from listening to him early at a ring game. The BUT quick called the flop. If he had the straight I think he would have taken a little time to think about his hand since the SB checked the flop and still had to act since I bet 1st from the BB. Quick call w/o thought to me indicates draw, he didnt even look at his hand on the flop... he knew what it was. If he had the low end of the str8 he would have raised because he doesnt want to be outdrawn.

When the 9 came on the turn and he raised me quickly I replayed the hand and his actions. Since he was a weak player I figured he would raise more with the str8. Now there was 2 flush on the board to go with the 4 cards. These guys like to push all in a lot with the best hand because they are so afraid of the outdraw. OR take their time betting if its a monster that cant be beaten, the old weak means strong. Thats when I was sure he had 98.

<font color="white"> 6c 7h 8d Turn 9h (I bet BUT raises, I push, he calls without hesitation).

He flips over 98o and hits an 8 on the river for the larger FH. SUCK ASS! I guessed his hand exactly and trapped him for all his chips. He crippled my stack and I was out of the tournament 3 hands later, my KJs vs J9s. blek!

All I can say is "thats poker"
