I got fed up after having a taco bell screw up my order for the 900th time so I called 1800tacobell and got them to send me a coupon for 2 free menu items. I ended up going back to that taco bell (its on the way to a casino, like 40 minutes from my house) and tried to use the coupon. They claimed they would only give me ground beef instead of chicken/steak. That is of course unacceptable so I decided to try 2 other taco bells that are right near my house (btw, on the same street, just across the freeway, whats up with that). Anyways, both of them don't accept these types of coupons!?! WTFFFFFFFFFF
So I called 1800tacobell and complained about all 3 locations just cause I was pissed again (wasn't expecting more free food) and told them specifically about how I was totally getting jerked around at the first taco bell, and that the people should learn how to speak english before working the counter because the guy literally didn't understand what I was trying to tell them.
Anyways, few weeks later I'm back in San Diego and I go to my local taco bell and the manager there is very helpful and gives me not only 2 free menu items, but a large soda and cinnemon twists. I thank him alot and we get to talking, and he says "Did you get these coupons because of my taco bell" I say no, tell him the story and we have a good laugh. When I get home, I call 1800tacobell again, tell them what a good experience I had at this taco bell and that I was really pleased with the service that their manager provided for me.
