I played in a limit game where you had to "bet the raise". Every hand starts out as a $0.25-$2 bet. If you raise, that raises the lower limit of the spread, until you got above $2, at which point it's fixed limit.
As an example. I raise preflop to $1 and get 4 callers. I bet $1 on the flop and there's a raise to $3. Now my options are to call $3 or raise to $6. If I raise and get called, I can only check or bet $6 on the next round.
Here's the kicker: you could not check-raise or sandbag (call then raise on the same round).
