Just ignore her for a week. Any time she comes up to you, talk to her for like 30 seconds and then be like "oh there's somewhere really important I gotta be". But don't tell her what the important thing is. Be friendly, but totally disinterested. Just treat her like she's "just someone you know and don't hate".

Don't let your friend touch your phone, this is key.

Then, on the turn (err... a week or two from now [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]) when she's gone crazy with why you are nonchalantly blowing her off then ask her out. But none of that "uh, i was wondering if maybe you'd like to blah blah blah", more like "ok, we're going to <insert local place here> on friday. I'm picking you up at 7."
