SMB 3 VS FF6
FF6 and FF7 are my two favorite video games of all time, with nothing being close. At the same time, I am not dissapointed to see FF6 losing to SMB 3.
It seems like a lot of the RPG fans aren't giving that game enough credit. Let's face it, every single person on the planet has played that game, most to completetion, and there's a reason for it. The gameplay is simply amazing. The secrets in that game (the warp whistles namely) have become common knowledge even to people that odn't play video games. The replayability in that game is amazing. It has been almost 16 years since that game was released, but I still enjoy playing it today. IMO, no other Mario game can ever compare to SMB 3 in terms of influence, success or even gameplay.
