If I'm not wrong, I believe Sam Farha said that in high stakes there is alot of 'literal' gambling... I think he meant many 50/50 and all in on draws. I believe this is true because since you are playing against good players, you will put your chips in with AK vs Ax when an ace flops even less than you do in lower stakes. To make up for this, people usually check-raise all in with draws on the flop and either hope the player folds or they improve if they get called. This constantly happens so whoever gets lucky is the big winner for the night. Of course, its still possible to outplay other players because not every player has the same skill. So the best players will still make money over the good players.
