But trips wasn't the problem. Villain ends up with a backdoor, runner-runner flush, using one of his pocket 6s.

I can do better still.
Tournament hand three years ago. Blinds 100-200 (iirc), all three players are roughly 10k deep. UTG makes it 800, hero makes it 2800 on the button with AA, BB moves all-in, UTG calls, hero calls all-in.
