I don't think the problem, if there was one, was having to use the bullpen too much; the problem was there were only two guys out there who could get people out.

Bottom line was Flash wanted three years and an opportunity to become a closer and the Yankees weren't going to give him either. Given what was available on the market, Fransworth was a good deal for the Yankees.

I doubt they would consider it, but I think Wang would be a good man for the 7th and 8th innings. They'll most likely need him in the rotation though.
