It does seem reasonable to me that sports book customers would use the site for high stakes poker. I believe that is why Ladbrokes has large high stakes games (200-400, 5-10NL), customers of their online bookies (sports book) use their roll their to play poker.
The other possibility of course is a large scale money laundering, but i can think of better ways of doing that.
