I studied in Edinburgh in the winter of 2004. I found some gambling friends and we went to the Gala Maybury a bunch. Originally just played Blackjack but I think I also played 3 times in the NLHE rebuy tourneys that ran a couple times a week. I had no idea what I was doing at that point but I did manage to win the second one I played so I guess it was fun. So, if you want to play I know that you can take the train over to Edinburgh. The casino is on the road to the airport so jsut figure out the closest stop and take a cab or try and deal with the confusing Edinburgh bus system's web site. Good luck.
