I misread your hand initially and didn't see that your guy raised the flop too. I thought you were only raised behind on the turn. So you didn't think that he could have A9?

I guess it's your read. However, if you had him on a set on the flop then why not fold to the initial raise?

I understand your explanation of your read - but it doesn't seem to fit very well with the line you chose to take.
