If villain is LAG I check raise the turn/lead the river. He is calling with any heart.

I still bet, even against a Lag. Most people, lags included, want to get to showdown as cheap as possible when the four flush hits and they don't have a heart.

Also, betting out semi-disguises your hand, considering you raised PF, while a c/r will usually make any non heart fold.
