Before this hand I was taking a lot of pots down by raising with good hands preflop and winning it right there, or taking it down on the flop with a cont bet. Because everyone was folding to the cont bets I thought this was a good flop to try one since it had a decent texture and the ace high with the gut draw might still be good anyway. When that guy reraised me all in I thought he might have had either been trying to catch me bluffing and semi-bluffed a flush draw (since I hadn't shown down a hand in a while) or maybe had an overpair. I was the only one left to act since the other 2 folded and it was up to me. I figured I had 7 outs twice - 3 aces and 4 for the straight. that gives me about 2.8-1 odds from flop to river (right?) to hit a winner in my mind. the pot was 1925 and it cost me only 525 more to call, which is about 3.8-1 odds. I also knew that if i won the pot id be "in the money" (top 3) and the practical double up would give me a decent chance to win. So i called and got yelled at when the straight came. Anyone else want to yell at me?
