It is based on the same concepts as Slanksy's system but the Kill Phil book is more detailed, and provides a more practical approach, e.g. provision of a detailed foundational [almost a cookbook approach] strategy that can be deviated from as you gain more tournament skill and experience. The book also discusses advanced concepts and principles about tournament play that provide guidelines for deviating from the basic strategy.
