[ QUOTE ]
So, preface: I think everyone has a license to update the forum on how they're doing at either a 1000 post mark, or upon reaching Pooh-Bah or Carpal \'Tunnel. Plus I've made some posts of the sort like "running badly", found here, so perhaps people are interested in the follow up. If not, please disregard this thread.

So in the middle up September I had a 3% ROI at the $16s and was boggled about all these 40% ROI posts that people make - I became convinced that the $16s are harder they should be and moved up. Whether I sucked, they were harder than buyin dictated, or what, I don't know. But I moved up anyway pushing my bankroll to the limit, just to take a short.

Well, here I am 1000 posts, 312 $27 sngs, and 2 months later (I have a full time job and only 3 table which is why I post so much more than I play):

ITM: 42.31%
ROI: 15.65%

Net amount won: $1318.50

Finish distribution:
1: 44 (14.10%)
2: 37 (11.86%)
3: 51 (16.35%)
4: 35 (11.22%)
5: 34 (10.9%)
6: 44 (14.1%)
7: 36 (11.54%)
8: 20 (6.41%)
9: 11 (3.53%)

Conclusions: I think it's possible I get a little too impatient around 75/150 blinds. But more importantly I am screwing up 3 handed. I think some of it is random unfortunate happenenings (I push A7o on the button, other big stack calls with AQ, and I give second to the other guy). Recently I've been on a bad run with firsts, that's just poor luck and poorly timed bluffs. Right now I am a net loser in 300/600... loss of 42,151 chips. But I pulled my 15/30 and 75/150 stats into the green, which is good.

I think I'm gonna start posting more three handed hands. But the problem with three handed is that a lot of it has to do with how the game has been playing so far, but I'll see if I can find some interesting ones.

If its any help, my last 500 at the 27s shows a ROI of 15.something and I just recently pulled my 300/600 out of the red...this was preceeded by pulling 75/150 out of the red a few weeks ago. Small samples, yet interesting in some way I imagine...unless we're the same person.
