Default Re: A bunch of 1/2 hands

The fact that he is solid is a good arguement for mucking. you could "run it through two dimes" vs his range!

nice.

but the fact he is solid does mean he notes where he's at.

{AA-66, AK-A7s(A6o-A4s?), KQ-K9s, QJ-QTo, JTs, T9s}

those are right about the standard openings of a "solid" player, give a take a hand or two for personal preference...

now throw in the fact that CO knows BU will fold a good deal of his hands that the CO wants BU to fold (A8o when CO holds K9s etc..) and the CO will probably open up a bit more to J9s, J8s etc...

i agree its close, clearly, but given position and the info, wouldn't you say CO's range opens up rather than narrows down. and wouldn't that be an argument for 3betting?

I think it could be a fold as well, depending on what CO thinks about you. how much postflop have you and the solid played/how much has he seen you play postflop?

love the line about twodimes though...clearly covers this situation entirely lol.
