McCourt had said he wanted somebody with experience. Some big names were bandied about, but none of them seemed interested, partly, at least I assume, because the Dodgers weren't willing to pay top dollar. There was a rumor they offered Theo part-ownership interest, but frankly, I would bet it's only a rumor.

Now all they need is a manager.
