i don't think this is a valid point. i made a relatively small sized bet to balance my continuation bets (with overcards). the opponent has a maximum of 3 outs if i am ahead, that means i don't have to bet more to cut his odds.

I was not suggesting to bet more to cut his odds. The reason I proposed betting a larger amount is because you are OOP and the villain is much less likely to make a stab at stealing the pot from you if you lead out with a PSB. That's just the way I see things, but maybe I'm way off here.
