I don't think you gain anything by betting 1/2 to 1/3 of the pot, because of the strong drawing nature of the board. If you're gonna lay down a bet at all, I think you gotta lay down a pot-size bet minimum to force these chase hands to pay incorrectly to draw. But TT here isn't even strong enough to lay this type of bet down IMO, so I like the flop check.
Betting here for a "free card" isn't really worth it here...you have 3 out to improve to a 1 card straight that doesn't put a potential straight-flush on the board and your 2 set outs put a 4-straight on the board. This is pretty much a dead hand and I'm not putting any money in to this pot unless a non[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] queen comes up(and even then it isn't the nut straight [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] ). Checking this flop gives you the only free card you want or need here.
