You most likely do not have your power supply hooked into your video card. If you have a PCIe video card there is a new connector for it which you can see
here. Your powersupply may not have the correct connector but there are
adapters available.
On AGP video card it should just have a 4 pin molex connector similiar to the power connectors on an ide harddrive.
