Bell Gardens is not that bad these days. It's a small residentil/industrial suburb of LA. It use to be overrun with Mexican gangs, but most died out/in jail/ or have injunctions. Just don't wander too far from the Casino grounds. Hell Hawaiian Gardens isn't Newport Beach Either. The fact is all the Cardrooms in LA county are in areas where there is no major employer (Lockheed,Hospital, etc). I've never had problems anywhere, plus each casino has like 20 security guards.
