Of course you can... but we are talking about a full ring tournament...

I'm just saying that pot limit creates bigger pots where people are going to chase more draw with bigger implied odds... and early in given hand... you have limited control over protecting your hand.

Someone on the Full Tilt team, I think it was Lederer, wrote a great article about winning pot-limit without every betting the size of the pot. The theory was to keep pots small and managable... don't price someone into a big draw by continuous "potting"
