I doesn't really matter what you look like. If you spend all day in front of the computer and don't get out of the house you won't meet girls. You could be tall and muscular, and you would still be in the same situation you are in now.
As far as meeting girls is concerned, I think its important to be in social environments. Because you aren't in school, thats going to be hard for you. Maybe you could try and play some live poker? You might end up charming a dealer, a fellow player, a chip runner, or a cage girl into dating you.
Sorry to hear that online dating hasn't worked for you. I was going to suggest that you give it a try. Maybe you shouldn't quit just yet.
