It seems to me that if you decide to play the hand after the flop, the C/R may be a bet well spent because(1)You need to get rid of UTG.[He left anyway, as it turned out.](2)Op may lay down a weak low on the turn if he holds something like A25 or A34(3)Your hand is defined,& if op raises the turn, you won't have to call him down on the river.
