If the rules parallel the rules to a limit hold'em game with a kill, I wouldn't see the problem. If the structure is significantly different than this tho, please do explain further. Really I don't think you've been totally clear what you mean.

I believe what he is saying is that on the kill pot the stakes double, but the antes/bring in don't go up. In holdem there is an extra blind to help drive the action but in his game there is nothing to drive the action higher.
